What we do
with your work.

Legal work is privileged. These are the controls that apply to everything you put into PleadSmart, written so that a general counsel can read them without a technical translator.

We do not train models on your data. Not now, not later, not in any form.

Your documents, queries and drafts are used to serve you and for nothing else.

Encryption

Access control

Role-based accessMembers hold defined roles. Permissions follow the role, not the person.
Workspace visibilityOwners and administrators can review any member’s queries, uploads and drafting canvases. Supervision, not collaboration.
Audit logsAdministrative actions are recorded.
Seat lifecycleAccess is revoked on deactivation, and active sessions end with it.
Single sign-onAvailable for Enterprise.

WhyTo provide the service to you.
DeletionOn request, an account and its associated data are deleted.
Retention windowData is retained for 30 days from the request before permanent deletion.

Privilege

Material you put into PleadSmart is treated as privileged. Access is limited to what is required to operate the service, and every such access is recorded.

We do not review, publish, or share your work.

A DPA is available on request.

We hold a data protection agreement drafted with external legal counsel. Firms and organisations that require one as a condition of engagement can request it during vendor review.

Infrastructure detail, processing arrangements and technical architecture are disclosed under a non-disclosure agreement as part of vendor review — send us your questionnaire and we will complete it.
